Google Chromecast HDMI Streaming Media Player

Google has created one of the slickest little media players. The Chromecast plugs directly into your T.V.'s HDMI port. It's extremely easy to setup and connect to your home wifi. From that point you simply connect it to the Android or Apple device of your choice and with the tap a button whatever is playing can instantly beam the music or video to your T.V. What makes it even cooler is its not just video or music. Anything you are looking at on your device can be mirrored to your T.V. So you could display the website of your choice or easily show off photos of your last trip.

Another cool feature is that your phone, tablet or computer, when connected, becomes the remote control for the media. The Chromecast works across many platforms like, Android, iOS, Chrome for Windows or Mac, and Chrome OS on Chromebook Pixel. So you're pretty much covered with nearly anything you own.

Use this at home, take it on vacations and use it in your hotel, or take it to the grandparents house and show them photos of the kids.  Hard to pass on this product for that price. It may not have all the bells and whistles just yet, but Google has plans to expand its capabilities like adding Pandora etc.

This really isnt much different from what a Roku or Apple TV can do. It does currently have far less channels. However, here is the kicker. The Chromecast is only $35 bucks! If you dont already have a Roku/Apple TV, this probably isnt for you. But if you are interested in streaming media on your T.V. but never wanted to fork out the $99 bucks for other devices, than the Chromecast is really a great way to do that without the big investment.

The Chromecast currently supports:
  •  Netflix
  • YouTube
  • Google Play
  • And any website shown on your Chrome browser

What's included:
  • Chromecast
  • HDMI extender
  • USB power cable
  • power adapter
